Welcome to Around the Groove!!
Today we have an incredible band with a legendary backround, FOO FIGHTERS!!. The album is Sonic Highways, their eighth studio album. "Sonic Highways" is much more than just an album by the Foo Fighters. In the making of this 8 track album, Dave Grohl traveled to 8 different cities to meet with musicians, producers, and others to get a sense of the musical history surrounding these cities ( Seattle, NYC, Nashville, Chicago, to name a few). Then, the Foo Fighters went on to record one song in each of the 8 cities featuring artists that had ties with those cities and their musical history. Here is bring you, Sonic Highways on vinyl!!!!
(You can see in the album cover is a mix of the cities)
(Photographers for this album include Ringo Starr and Brantley Gutierrez)
